Welcome to our guide to Yellowstone National Park!

Yellowstone National Park is one of the most magnificent destinations within the U.S. national park system. The sheer beauty of the park and the wonderful opportunities to interact with nature make it a very popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Yellowstone is the world's oldest national park and often considered the crown jewel of the national park system.

Each year (non-pandemic) more than six million visitors enter the park, making it one of the three most visited U.S. national parks. Even in 2020, nearly four million people visited, and 2021 is sure to see that number rise significantly.

Located in northwestern Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park is surrounded by border towns in each direction. To the east is Cody, Wyoming. To the north is Gardiner, Montana. To the west is West Yellowstone, Montana. To the south is Jackson, Wyoming. Each has a culture and beauty consistent with the incredible natural world of Yellowstone.

In addition to the towns, Yellowstone has a companion national park directly to its south - Grand Teton National Park. Together, these two national parks provide some of the most amazing natural beauty in the world.

Our guide is designed to provide as much detail as possible for everyone who visits Yellowstone National Park. We are always updating the site and working to provide even more.

Enjoy your visit to Yellowstone National Park!
