Disney's Hollywood Studios

Welcome to Disney's Hollywood Studios, the theme park that immerses you in movie experiences and history. Formally known as Disney MGM Studios, Disney's Hollywood Studios was opened in 1989 as the third theme park at Walt Disney World.

Currently, Hollywood Studios is undergoing a large expansion. You can still experience thrills like no other at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Star Tours. You can see shows and productions that would impress Broadway at Beauty and The Beast-Live on Stage, and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. And, there may be no more exciting place at Walt Disney World for toddlers and preschoolers than Disney Junior-Live on Stage! and the rest of Animation Courtyard.

Now that Toy Story Land is open and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open on August 29, 2019, Hollywood Studios is getting back to full function and will likely be the first place many want to go upon arriving at Walt Disney World.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is divided into seven lands. They are Animation Courtyard, Commissary Lane, Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, Hollywood Boulevard, Toy Story Land, and Sunset Boulevard, and the eighth land is set to open on August 29, 2019 - Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You enter onto Hollywood Boulevard and all streets are accessible from its plaza.

On certain nights, you can enjoy the spectacular laser, fireworks, and water show at Fantasmic! You won't want to miss this.

We believe Disney's Hollywood Studios is a wonderful place to experience the grandeur of movies and television.
