Disney Springs is a wonderful collection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. It is truly a destination unto itself, with four unique sections. They are the Marketplace, The Landing, Town Center, and the West Side.

The Marketplace is heavily focused on shopping and eating, and there is plenty of both. The centerpiece store here is the World of Disney, the largest Disney store anywhere. But there is far more than that. From Disney’s Days of Christmas to Once Upon A Toy, the Marketplace has great shopping options. The little ones will love the Lego Store. Eating at the Marketplace is good, and fun, ranging from the Rainforest Cafe to Earl of Sandwich to the T-Rex Cafe.

The Landing is a quaint island with specialty shops, a variety of restaurants, and some unique attractions. It sits between the Marketplace and the West Side, and serves as a primary trafficway between the two.

Town Center is the main entry point from the parking garages, and features beautiful landscaping set among rows of stores.  A large variety of stores can be found here, including iconic brands such as Johnny Was, Kate Spade, Lily Pulitzer, Sephora, and Tommy Bahama.  Town Center also includes a few restaurants, ranging from the fun of Planet Hollywood to the tasty pizza of Blaze Pizza to the BBQ and taps found at The Polite Pig.

Spending an entire day at the West Side is not just possible, it is hard to avoid. Characters in Flight is the large hot-air balloon that you will see, and it gives guests a beautiful view of the Walt Disney World complex, and the southern part of Orlando, from the air. Eating options at the West Side include Bongos Cuban Cafe, the House of Blues, and Planet Hollywood. Shopping options include a number of unique stores, including Candy Cauldron, Hoypoloi, and a massive Harley Davidson store. Other entertainment options include the House of Blues, an AMC Theater complex, and a massive Splittsville bowling center.

Disney Spings is popular with tourists and just as popular with central Floridians, making it fairly unique among Walt Disney World destinations. Its central location near I-4 makes it easily accessible. If there is any souvenir or merchandise item you want, you will probably find it at Disney Springs. It is quite easy to spend a full day at Disney Springs. If you do, you'll be glad you did.
